We offer high quality, target sports experiences of Archery, Axe Throwing, Air Rifle Shooting and Clay Target Shooting, in our main base near Portree on the misty Isle of Skye, one of the most perfect locations for outdoor adventure activities in Scotland.
You can also experience Clay Target Shooting on the at our brand new range located at Fearann Eilean Iarmain.

A.C.E Base 2.0 & the Team
Welcome to A.C.E Base 2.0, where a new era of adventure unfolds on the magical Isle of Skye! Reopened in Spring 2023 after a complete refurbishment, this unique 10-acre woodland site is built almost entirely from recycled materials. Enjoy stunning views, a cozy atmosphere, and eco-friendly power from solar, wind, and hydro sources. With a pet-friendly policy, famous on-site dogs, and incredible wildlife sightings, there’s always excitement in the air. The new range complex offers shelter from the elements, ensuring comfort and adventure, whatever the weather!
The A.C.E Target Sports Skye team is led by founder Matt, an experienced instructor with over 25 years of experience instructing outdoors around the world, and includes skilled members like Steve, Melanie, James, and William, who bring diverse expertise in outdoor activities. The team is dedicated to creating engaging experiences and promoting adventure, conservation, and education on the Isle of Skye.
