Open to anyone over 12 years old with an interest in the sport of Archery
Two age categories- Juniors- Age 12-16 and Adults- 16+
One category for Archers with their own Equipment and One for those renting our Equipment.
Part of Skye Week 2025 and exciting event from Light Up Portree
The competition will be a simple format held from 4pm. Entries can be purchased online here, but walk ins will be excepted on the evening.
12 Practice arrows at 15m followed by 12 Scored Arrows. Top 8 Archers in each age group will enter a Quarter Final, Semi Final, Third Place playoff and of course Grand Final.
The use of A.C.E equipment is included in the price but you can also bring your Bow and Arrows!
Recurve Bows Only- Maximum Draw Weight 40lbs
There will be medals for the top three Archers in the four categories.
12-16yo using A.C.E Bows – 12-16yo Using their own Bow
16+ Using A.C.E Bows- 16+ Using their own Bow
All competitors using their own equipment must present their bow and arrows to the A.C.E office for a safety check.
Whilst the A.C.E team will be present they will be there in the capacity of range officers rather than instructors, limited Instruction will be given where required on safety grounds, some level of Target Archery competency will be required to take part.
The medal ceremony will be held at 5.30 and 7.30pm at A.C.E Base
